Just like you, we are just a bunch of guys who love the game and we found a way to expand all the fun we have with the game.
It turns out some of us also make a living in the technology industry and started thinking of all the possibilities. We saw an opportunity to use the power of the smartphones in our hands to convert our weekly visit to our favorite course into an online game.
The first step was to create a game format that would allow players to post their scores from their local courses (11,800 in the system) and have a chance at big money.
Since all of us are not great golfers, our primary order of business was to make it fair for everyone that plays. This led to us creating a proprietary handicap system and the creation of divisions based on gross scores posted by our fellow recreational golfers.
Then the real fun began. We expanded our thinking to include competition with pros playing on the Tour every week
